King S'ex (London)

King S'ex was originally written as a piece for an anthology, The Morning After (Monorogue) at The Hen & Chickens, London.
Another historical re-imagining whereby I created a fictional courtesan of Louis XV, recruited by his chief mistress, Madam Pompidou, who was otherwise engaged to fulfill his needs.
My Lucie D'Charcoal was a foul mouthed pastry cook who suddenly found herself banished from court and she;s ready to spill the beans.
The problem was, she loved him.
"The standout monologue, full of filthy slang from across the centuries is Mike Elliston’s ghost, Lucie D’Charcoal, performed by Mary-Ann Cafferkey. There is barely room to catch your breath between the jokes as Cafferkey describes, in hysterically coarse detail, her time as King Louis’ mistress."
